A little slice of heaven. I dropped by here on a rainy night after work. At first, it looked fully booked, but the staff directed me to a table at the rear of the shop, then when I came to order a better table by the window came free and the staff kindly helped me to move to that one. The atmosphere was lovely, very much like the old cafes of my youth fully of nooks and crannies. The food and drink were excellent (the mushroom and cheese risotto especially). With a fascinating little bookshop at the back with the biggest collection of Gollancz Left Book Club editions I have seen in years, I could happily have spent a day hidden away in here. Gorgeous.

Went for brunch and it's such a cute little cafe, really friendly staff. I have the special Turkish scrambled egg and it was so good! I would definitely recommend it. Really nice food and reasonably priced. I also had the art of tea blend and it was good but a bit too floral for me, but still good. They have some really good food and drink options.

Great little place with a good selection of tea, and a room full of books at the back, and a quiet room to read or work in peace. Friendly, very pleasant place with good service and friendly staff. We only had tea and coffee, so no comment on the food

Great place to stop for a cuppa, made even better by a second hand bookshop on the premises. My second visit was equally good. The coffee was great. A blend made for them specially and so was the lemon drizzle cake. Also got some very reasonably priced miniature scores from the bookshop. Definitely my first choice for a coffee and cake when in Didsbury

Lovely cozy cafe / old books shop. It has a nice intimate cozy vibe. Went there for breakfast and we’ve ordered french toast and eggs Benedict’s with coffees and everything was very tasty and fresh. You can get lost in the books section while you wait for your food to come and maybe find some treasures hidden in there. Unfortunately not very near where I live but would go back again on a future visit to didsbury.
